- Three medicinal plant species found in the Himalayas have made it to the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species following a recent assessment. Meizotropis pellita has been assessed as “critically endangered,” Fritilloria cirrhosa as “vulnerable,” and Dactylorhiza hatagirea as “endangered.”
